I was using the phospho-STAT6 antibody to determine if the IL-13 I purchased was causing activation of the JAK/STAT pathway in primary epithelial cells. This is a good antibody to detect the Tyr641 phosphorylated form of STAT6. I have not tried other antibodies for STAT6 but you don't really need to if you start with this one.

Whole cell lysates were probed for phospho-STAT6 (pSTAT6). Data shows increase in the amount of phospho-STAT6 upon adding IL-13, a known activator of JAK/STAT signaling.
Be sure to have phosphatase inhibitors in your lysis buffers
