The general aim of my research was to test the ability of Regulatory T cells from drug treated mice to suppress the proliferation of effector T cells. I used this product in order to isolate the CD4+CD25+ regulatory T cell population from spleens and lymph nodes of control and drug-treated mice. I chose this kit because of the time and ease of use.

The kit was used to magnetically separate T cell subsets (CD4+ CD25+ and CD4+CD25-) using an antibody cocktail and magnetic beads. The protocol allows easy and successful isolation of cell populations.
Be sure to de-gas your column buffer prior to using it on the columns, it really does make a difference!
I was able to successfully isolate both CD4+CD25+ and CD4+CD25- T cells from drug-treated mice to about 90% purity when assessed by flow. The cells also performed well and were functional in a CFSE proliferation assay.

Have to buy the columns and antibody kits separately.
The kit works well, and I would highly recommend its use in isolating regulatory T cells.
