Our experiments assess the tendencies of environmental pollutants to affect dendritic cells' protein expression. We incubated Bone-Marrow Derived DCs with pollutant and collected data via flow cytometry. We assess CD54 frequency and mean fluorescence to see if environmental pollutants potentially affect dendritic cell function. We used CD54 APC because it worked best with other flourochromes that we were using.
