This product was used to identify the mechanism of turtle BDNF gene regulation during classical conditioning. We tried to identify the binding of CREB, MeCP2 proteins on tBDNF gene using ChIP assay using SYBR green master mix. ChIPed DNA was used as a template. I tried another company's product and had lot of trouble with that. Then I tried this kit based on a web search. This kit took some time for standardization, but works really well and gets standard results.

SYBR green mastermix + Forward and reverse primer pairs (50 to 100 nm based on the primer pairs) + water and template. 40 cycles
Avoid vigorous pipetting, otherwise you'll get frothing.
Analyzed the binding of CREB, MeCP2 on tBDNF genes between naive and conditioned samples, it appears that CREB biding is increased during conditioning.
