The main aim of my research is to study the effect of STAT1 on inflammation and how it regulates its downstream targets. I use actin antibody as a loading control to compare the expression levels of proteins in vraious samples transfected with control plasmids/siRNA, overexpression plasmids and siRNA to various proteins.

The antibody works very well even at 1:5000 dilution. I have used the same antibody multiple time with apparent loss in signal.
