Pacific Blue is good because it doesn't have compensation with most used colors like PE, APC, APC-CY7, PE-CY7, and FITC. However, PB is not bright and it was not stable for intracellular staining or fixation or permeabilization. Biolegend BV421 is a perfect replacement for PB. It is stronger and more stable for intracellular staining.
