I really enjoy using this kit to isolate neurons from mouse brain. The entire protocol takes less than a couple hours and the instructions are easy to follow.

Tips

Using glass fired pipetts isn't necessary. Just put a 1 mL tip on the end of a 10 mL glass pipette.

Results Summary

I usually yield 1.5 million neurons from 1 midbrain taken from a p2 mouse. Cell viability is always very good.
