I work with intracellular protein trafficking, and I used this antibody to stain for endogenous SorLA in rat hippocampal neurons. It gives a nice and specific staining. I tested a range of antibodies, but got the best results with this one.

1:100 in PBS with 1 mM MgCl2, 0.1 mM CaCl2 and 0.2% gelatine for 30 min. at 37 C
0.2 % gelatine in PBS with 1 mM MgCl2 and 0.1 mM CaCl2
Anti-mouse Alexa-fluor 488 1:1000 in PBS with 1 mM MgCl2, 0.1 mM CaCl2 and 0.2% gelatine for 30 min. at 37 C

Specific detection of endogenous SorLA and very little background.
The image shows LR11 (green) and axon is identified with Ankyrin G (magenta)
