I work with intracellular protein trafficking, and I used this antibody to stain for endogenous SorLA in rat hippocampal neurons. It gives a nice and specific staining. I tested a range of antibodies, but got the best results with this one.

1:100 in PBS with 1 mM MgCl2, 0.1 mM CaCl2 and 0.2% gelatine for 30 min. at 37 C

Blocking Agent

0.2 % gelatine in PBS with 1 mM MgCl2 and 0.1 mM CaCl2

Secondary Incubation

Anti-mouse Alexa-fluor 488 1:1000 in PBS with 1 mM MgCl2, 0.1 mM CaCl2 and 0.2% gelatine for 30 min. at 37 C

Tertiary Incubation

None

Zeiss 710 confocal microscope
