Product Name:

Anti-BRCA1 (Ab-2) Mouse mAb (MS13)

Catalog Number:

OP93-100UG

Human colon cancer cell line was stained with BRCA1 at 1/200 together with nuclear marker DAPI. The cells were PFA fixed, blocked in 3% normal goat serum and then incubated with the antibody for 12 hour at 4 degree. An Alexa conjugated goat polyclonal antibody was used as the secondary antibody. The image was acquired by confocal microscopy.

Experimental Design and Results Summary

Applications

Immunofluorescence

Sample

Human colon cancer cell line

Primary Incubation

1:200 for 12hr at 4C

Blocking Agent

3% BSA plus 0.1% Triton-X 100 in TBS

Secondary Incubation

Results Summary

BRCA1 antibody counter-stained with nuclear marker DAPI. The nuclear part of the human colon cancer cell was labeled, which consistent with its role as a component of the BRCA1-BARD1 heterodimer coordinates a diverse range of cellular pathways such as DNA damage repair, ubiquitination and transcriptional regulation to maintain genomic stability.
