Product Name:

Anti-TBR2 / Eomes antibody - ChIP Grade

Catalog Number:

ab23345

Embryonic neurogenesis was studied in the developing mouse brain. Tbr2 was used as a intermediate progenitor marker to measure the number of intermediate progenitor cells during development.

Experimental Design and Results Summary

Applications

Immunohistochemistry

Sample

E16 mouse cortex tissue

Primary Incubation

1:400 for 24hr at 4C

Blocking Agent

3% BSA plus 0.1% Triton-X 100 in TBS

Secondary Incubation

Alexa Fluor 546 Goat Anti-Rabbit IgG (H+L) 1:1000 for 1hr at 25C

Tertiary Incubation

N/A

Detection

Confocal imaging

Results Summary

Tbr2 antibody counter-stained with nuclear marker DAPI. The intermediate progenitor cells were located in the subventricular zone as literature suggested. The nuclear part of the cell was labeled, which consistent with its role as a transcriptional factor.

Additional Notes

No antigen retrieval is required
