Product Name:

Human Erythropoietin Recepter-Phycoerythrin (EpoR-PE) Monoclonal Antibody

Catalog Number:

FAB307P

Image

We selected this antibody against the human erythropoietin receptor to study the change in receptor level during differentiation of erythrocytes.

Experimental Design and Results Summary

Applications

Flow cytometry

Sample

UT-7/GM, a human cell line; not fixed. Cells were always kept in phosphate-buffered saline (PBS) + 0.5% bovine serum albumin (BSA) at room temperature, except for the incubation after antibody addition, when a 4°C temperature was used.

Primary Incubation

FAB307P; incubated for 45 min. We tested a series of dilutions and found that, with our cells, that using 1/3 of the recommended amount worked equally well.

Blocking Agent

PBS+0.5% BSA

Secondary Incubation

N/A

Tertiary Incubation

N/A

Detection

Guava Easycyte and BD LSRII

Results Summary

Works quite well; very good concordance between qPCR and flow cytometry results. Strong signal that lasts.

Additional Notes

Easy to use; little to no optimization required. Can use 1/3 of the recommended amount and still get it to work equally well.
