Webinar Summary/Description

For non-antibody-based biotherapeutics, platform processes generally do not exist. This constraint often requires the process development scientist to devise creative solutions in order to simultaneously maintain high yield, low impurity profile, and fully active target protein. Mixed-mode resins have become increasingly popular tools to achieve these ends. In this webinar we present the purification process development for two very different targets, adenovirus and bacterial surface proteins. In both cases a two-step column process results in a preparation with high yield and activity and very low host cell protein and DNA contamination. Conditions used make the methods suitable for large-scale production.
