Today, I'd like to introduce you to our brand new 405 Touch Microplate Washer that we're launching here at SLAS 2012.
The 405 Touch is built upon what made BioTek's full-plate washers the industry standard over the last 20-plus years. And that's all culminated into the 405 Touch.
As a 96 3D four-plate washer, the 405 Touch brings forward our patented dual-action manifold, our patent pending ultrasonic cleaner, our optimized cell washing, and everything else that again made this today's standard in full-plate washing.
What's new and different about the 405 Touch is the onboard touch-screen interface, a crisp and clear interface, intuitive, flexible for anyone in the lab to use.
We have an LED back-lit resistive screen technology combined with multiple USB flash drive boards for users able to store protocols and transfer protocols, either from the PC to the device or from 405 Touch to other 405 Touch plate washers in the lab.
So, you'll see here at the top the USB flash drive port readily accessible. It's now automatically accessing what is on that USB stick and updates my interface.
So, whatever I would've just programmed in my office, I can now be running here in the lab.
Everything on the 405 Touch able to be run in two short key presses to leave the user free to do other important things in the lab.
Other improvements we've made to the 405 Touch on top of pass BioTek washers are an integrated buffer switching. So, now, four-buffer switching is all integrated into the device.
We now have our quick change manifolds for users looking to maintain manifolds or swap manifold designs, can be done tool free and in a matter of seconds.
All of these washers are biomag separation ready and vacuum filtration ready for bead-based assays.
So, together as a cell washer, ELISA washing and bead-based design, on top of multiple USB flash drive ports, make the 405 Touch what will soon become again today's standard in full-plate washing.
