What You Will Learn

Peptide Maps provide more comprehensive analysis than intact protein analysis.  Peptide mapping uses reverse phase chromatography, and when interfaced with mass spectrometry, can deliver the identification of proteins and their variants, determine post translational modifications and locations, and confirm protein sequences.  But peptide mapping is challenging, and many scientists struggle with developing robust and reliable peptide maps. This eSeminar was put together by request as a “recipe” for this process.  It provides a fairly detailed overview of the process and information on the instruments and columns used.
