The catalyst heater unit has two primary functions. It reduces trace amounts of oxygen and maintains incubation temperature levels of 35-37 degrees C. The internal atmosphere is drawn off the floor and up across heating elements and aluminized palladium pellets. Any oxygen present will react with your anaerobic gas mixture and be reduced to water vapor. The drying train (800-DT) then removes vapor as needed.
Maintains positive pressure in any of Plas Labs Glove Boxes, Isolators and desiccators. This self regulating Purge System controls nitrogen (inert) gas consumptionby regulating flow rate. An integral pressure sensor continually monitors chamber pressure level. If thepressure inside the chamber falls below the adjustable setpoint, the controller opens the inert gas supply valve.Once the desired pressure has been restored, the controller closes the valve. The gas flow rate can be adjustedvia the flow meter on the front of the control box. Basic features of the unit include: programmable logiccontroller, pressure sensor, black Noryl™ housing, flow meter for inert gas, solenoid valve and push-to-seal fittings for gas line and chamber connections.
830- FILTER (HEPA & CARBON)
Ionizer emits both negative and positive ions. The non air assisted static eliminator does not cause any air turbulence because there is no internalfan (blower). No particle contaminant's are introduced into the isolator. It is perfect for working with fine powders and chemicals.
