Sera-Mag SpeedBeads Magnetic Particles quickly respond to a magnetic field to shorten assay times, and provide low non-specific binding for greater precision and accuracy when targeting biotinylated ligands such as proteins, nucleic acids and peptides. Available in carboxylate-modified, neutravidin and streptavidin coated versions, these colloidally stable, nominal 1 µm particles also feature a unique cauliflower-like surface with a high carboxylic acid content that dramatically increases its overall binding capacity. Sera-Mag SpeedBeads are especially useful in clinical immunoassays and automation where speed of magnetic response is important, and for isolation from viscous solutions in molecular biology applications.
