StressMarq Biosciences has recently released the IHC Gold™ series of immunohistochemistry kits. These allow unprecedented reproducibility and even staining across tissues. The sensitivity of the process is so high that it allows for high dilutions of primary antibody, sometimes as high as 1 in a million-fold dilution. This is a reflection on removing the traditional barriers faced by researchers while carrying out this process. The kit can be purchased in a variety of formats, inclusive of pre-validated antibodies or without – in the latter case the kit is used with the (researcher's) antibody of choice. Pre-validated kits exist for heat shock and some oxidative stress markers.
