Piezo Flexure specimen stages provide sub-nanometer resolution, very fast scanning and millisecond stepping response. They are ideal tools for high-speed nano-focusing and scanning microscopy applications in biotech research microscopes utilizing deconvolution and 3D imaging techniques. Z, XY and XYZ versions are available with travel ranges from 100 to 1800 µm. Piezo lens positioners are used if the specimen cannot be moved, or when the fastest possible response is required. For travel ranges to 100x100mm, piezo ceramic motor stages have many advantages over classical motor/leadscrew driven microscopy stages. They are smaller, significantly faster (>100 mm/sec) and the autolocking design eliminates stage drift and servo dither.
