New PhosDecor™ Fluorescent Phosphoprotein In-Gel Detection Kit Phosphorylation is an important covalent post-translational modification (PTM) in cell signaling pathways. Sigma’s PhosDecor Fluorescent Phosphoprotein In-Gel Detection Kit allows for quick and selective identification of phosphorylated proteins directly in SDS-polyacrylamide gels useful for preliminary screening of proteins involved in transduction pathways. PhosDecor Staining is compatible with downstream analysis such as in-gel trypsin digestion of the stained proteins and MALDI-MS analysis, allowing for the identification of specific phosphorylation sites within the proteins.
