The Label IT® miRNA Labeling Kit offers rapid, direct, one-step chemical labeling of miRNA-enriched samples with Cy™3 and Cy™5 fluorophores. This kit, compared to enzymatic labeling kits, enables reproducible and uniform labeling of miRNA samples with accurate and sensitive detection of the complete profile of miRNAs in the sample. Particular miRNAs have been shown to regulate cellular processes specific to different cell types, stages of development, and disease states, including certain cancers. Microarray-based miRNA expression profiling is a powerful and increasingly common methodology for assessing relative levels of individual miRNAs in specific tissues.
