Webinar Summary/Description

Abstract: CRISPR-Cas9 system provides a platform for precise and high efficiency genome editing that holds strong promise for advancing biology and medicine; from generation of models based on clinical findings through target identification. While the opportunity to creatively edit the genome exists, having the appropriate tools to leverage the technology can be a challenge for scientists. Initially, researchers need to be able to generate engineered model systems and moreover they need the appropriate tools to validate and characterize these cellular systems.

In this presentation, we will discuss an array of CRISPR-Cas9 workflow tools that are optimized to generate efficient and effective genome editing. Cell engineering applications and tips, including the development of knock-in and knock-out cells lines will be shared as it pertains to studying functional genomics. Lastly, we will present case studies in which our flow cytometry platform can enhance the workflow process to assay genome editing efficiency of both knock-in and knock-outs, enrich for genetically modified cells, validate genome editing tools, and even perform high-throughput titering of our Lentiarray™ CRISPR libraries.
