The InQ™ PLUS is a fully integrated benchtop system for automated cell-based research. The system includes programmable and automated environmental control, media fluidics, image acquisition and data analysis. Experiments can be monitored and managed from any location at any time via remote access and remote control.
The ability to automatically and remotely surveil cells at user-selected locations across the InQ growth cassette along with the very short interval times between images enables fine temporal documentation of culture dynamics including growth, morphology and migration. Similarly, detailed kinetic analyses of cell culture dynamics are made possible via automated analysis of the large number images collected during the course of study.
The InQ facilitates unattended and extended workflows requiring either steady-state or variable conditions lasting days or even weeks. Automated environmental control allows simulation of in vivo-like conditions related to normal, diseased and recovering cellular states. The InQ Automated Cell Research system is ideally suited to research employing hypoxia, ischemia, hyperoxia, cell migration, pyrexia or hypothermia. The InQ system is also well-suited to quality control for the manufacture of cells or cell growth/culture components.
