anti-heparanase Antibody

Description

Product Characteristics: Heparan sulfate proteoglycans (HSPGs) are major components of the basement membrane and extracellular matrix. Heparanases, like HSPE, are endoglycosidases that cleave the heparan sulfate side chain of HSPGs to permit the remodeling of the extracellular matrix for cell movement or the release of bioactive molecules from the extracellular matrix or cell surface. Synonyms: Polyclonal HPSE antibody, Anti-HPSE antibody, heparanase antibody, HPA antibody, HPR1 antibody, HPSE1 antibody, HSE1 antibody.
Target Information: Heparan sulfate proteoglycans are major components of the basement membrane and extracellular matrix. The protein encoded by this gene is an enzyme that cleaves heparan sulfate proteoglycans to permit cell movement through remodeling of the extracellular matrix. In addition, this cleavage can release bioactive molecules from the extracellular matrix. Several transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been found for this gene.
