SUBCELLULAR LOCATION: Cell membrane, Multi-pass membrane protein. TISSUE SPECIFICITY: Expressed almost exclusively in skeletal muscle and selected areas of the brain, such amygdala, hippocampus, caudate nucleus, thalamus and hypothalamus.
