Product Characteristics: FUNCTION: Aphrodisin is a glycoprotein originally isolated from hamster vaginal discharge which was demonstrated to be involved in pheromonal effects on male hamsters. It selectively binds odorants and may be involved in carrying odorants within the nasal epithelium to putative olfactory receptors.
