Description
The PROTEAN i12 IEF system, 90-240 VAC is used for isoelectric focusing (IEF) of immobilized pH gradient (IPG) strips. The PROTEAN i12 IEF cell features individual lane programming of all 12 lanes, Each lane allows up to 10,000 volts and 100uA of current. The cell accommodates trays for up to twelve IPG strips in 7cm, 11 cm, 13cm, 17 cm, 18 cm, or 24 cm lengths, and provides a Peltier platform for temperature control during IEF. The system includes the basic unit, positive and negative electrode assemblies, 17, 11, and 7 cm focusing trays, 1 pack each of 17, 11, and 7 cm rehydration/equilibration trays, 6 IPG Strip Retainers, 2 pairs of forceps, 2 packs of electrode wicks, mineral oil, cleaning brushes, 2 USB flash drives, 3 styluses, power cord, leveling bubble, pH 3-10 ReadyStrip IPG strips in 7cm, 11cm and 17cm lengths, rehydration sample buffer and instructions (purchase 13, 18 and 24 cm trays and cup loading apparatus separately)
