UVP iBox Scientia™ Small Animal Imaging System

Description

The UVP iBox Scientia Small Animal Imaging System is revolutionizing in-vivo imaging by enabling researchers to visualize and capture multispectral fluorescently labeled cells.

The system supplies researchers with a high resolution, deeply cooled CCD camera with high sensitivity and low light detection of fluorescent markers deep within the animal. Select from several lens options which will determine the field of view (FOV) area. The iBox can accommodate up to five mice. The warming station is temperature regulated to provide the optimum animal temperature during imaging procedures. The easy to use software automates research with templates to enable reproducible, consistent results. The light tight darkroom creates optimum conditions and includes integrated lighting and motorized platform. A wide spectral range of emission filters are available to enables visible, IR and UV to meet all spectral requirements (GFP/RFP set included).

The automated BioLite™ MultiSpectral Light Source features a high intensity light source and GFP/RFP excitation filter set. BioLite can accommodate up to eight excitation filters. An anesthesia unit is available to produce a state of immobilization of the animal that allows for acquisition of repeatable, reliable images and data. The real-time, non-invasive imaging capabilities speed up basic and preclinical research studies in tumors, oncology, heart and metabolic diseases. IQ/OQ documentation available.
