Brain sectioning Custom Research Service, slide sections in coronal, sagittal or horizontal orientation) from Zyagen Laboratories

Sectioning of rat or mouse brains (Paraffin or frozen) in coronal, sagittal, or horizontal orientation. Service includes harvesting tissues from animals, processing brains for embedding in paraffin or frozen medium, sectioning at a thickness of 5-15 microns, and mounted on slides treated for adhesion. Investigator select brain region/area, procedures of tissue preparation including fixation, thickness of tissue sections, and quantity of slides. We can also section brains (fixed/unfixed or in blocks) provided by the customers.
